Jewish music and songs for spiritual inspiration, meditation, and tefillah (prayer) weaving together classical and jazz traditions into a new lyrical, poetic song cycle to take us to the mystical core of Judaism – a personal, uplifting response to kabbalah to create a fresh, living, prayerful experience of traditional Torah texts, improvised music, and newly composed nigguns and Hebrew songs.
Alexander and Philip are
international artists who have performed
at venues such as the Royal Festival Hall, Salzburg Festival, Ronnie Scott’s and Glastonbury. They met through London Jewish Renewal community the Ruach Chavurah, where they first conceived the Songs of Eden project. Their devotional concerts have been presented at Limmud, the Portland Festival of Devotional Music, and across the UK. |
